Kim Tok Hun, Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a congratulatory message to Phankham Viphavanh on March 24, upon his election as Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the 1st Session of the 9th National Assembly of Laos.
In the message, he wished the Prime Minister of Laos great success in his responsible work for achieving social and economic development of the country, expressing conviction that the fraternal relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries which were provided by the preceding leaders would steadily develop in the future, too.
Meanwhile, Ri Son Gwon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, sent a congratulatory message to Saleumxay Kommasith, Foreign Minister of Laos, upon his reappointment at the 1st Session of the 9th National Assembly of Laos.
