Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a reply message from Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR), on March 29.
The Lao president, in the message, expressed sincere thanks to Kim Jong Un for extending warm congratulations to him upon his election as President of the LPDR.
He said that he rejoices at the traditional and excellent ties of friendship and cooperation between the LPDR and the DPRK which have steadily grown stronger.
Expressing his will to closely cooperate with Kim Jong Un to consolidate and enrich the traditional and excellent relations between the two countries, the Lao president hoped that the cooperation would bring tangible benefits to the peoples of the two countries and contribute to ensuring peace, stability and cooperative development in the region and the rest of the world.
He wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and greater success in his noble work.
