The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Yang Jong Ho, reunification patriotic fighter, on his 90th birthday on April 3.
Born into a poor peasant family in South Kyongsang Province before the liberation of the country, Yang Jong Ho keenly experienced how miserable a ruined nation is from his early years. He deeply revered President Kim Il Sung as he liberated the country and built a new society where the people are masters.
He bravely fought with arms against the aggressors during the Fatherland Liberation War. He was arrested by the enemy while struggling for national reunification in the post-war period. During his 30 years’ imprisonment, he had suffered from all sorts of cruel tortures, but remained faithful to his being membership of of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that he and other reunification patriotic fighters were repatriated to the DPRK and that they spend the rest of their life in happiness.
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un of the WPK added glory to the life of the revolutionary soldier by making sure that he was invited as a delegate to the celebrations for the 100th birth anniversary of the President, the 4th National Conference of War Veterans and the 7th Congress of the WPK and as a special guest to the celebrations for the 8th Congress of the WPK.
