There took place a dancing party of youth and students and a firework display in celebration of the Day of the Sun (President Kim Il Sung ’s birth anniversary) in Pyongyang on the evening of April 15.
The evening gala started with the playing of the song “Let Us Sing of the Day of the Sun”.
The participants danced to the tune of the song with ardent yearning for the President.
Amid the heightened atmosphere of the gala filled with enthusiasm and optimism of the youth with the passage of time, fantastic fireworks were set off in the sky to mark the Day of the Sun.
Colourful fireworks in different shapes were displayed in the nocturnal sky above the capital city of Pyongyang along with the melody of the song “Our Leader Beloved of the People” which highly praises General Secretary Kim Jong Un of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Firework display and dancing party in the square added festive mood to the April spring holiday.
