Personages from different countries and international bodies paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on the occasion of the 73 rd founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together, and paid tribute to them.

Other foreign personages paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions.

They included the Secretary of Chamberlain as special envoy of the Egyptian President, the General Secretary of the Arab Democratic Union Party of Syria, the Secretary General of the International Taekwon-Do Association in Iran, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, the Vice-President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, a member of the Communist Party Group of the Brazilian National Congress and the Chief of the Carabobo Branch of the Venezuelan Solidarity Committee for Korea’s Peace and Reunification.

Meanwhile, the President of the International Group of Italy sent a large floral basket to the DPRK mission in his country on the same occasion. Floral baskets and bouquets were sent to the DPRK missions by foreign personages, organizations and others.
