Seminars were held in several countries on the occasion of the 24 th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il ‘s election as General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the 76 th founding anniversary of the WPK.
There took place seminars on works of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in Bangladesh and Ethiopia and seminars on their exploits in Nepal, Pakistan, Serbia and Uganda from October 5 to 9.
Members of the Tangail Branch of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea held a seminar on Kim Jong Un ‘s work “Let Us Brilliantly Accomplish the Revolutionary Cause of Juche, Holding the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il in High Esteem as the Eternal General Secretary of Our Party” .
At the seminar, they praised the exploits of Kim Jong Il who developed the Juche idea into the guiding idea of the era of independence with his energetic ideological and theoretical activities and experienced and seasoned leadership, and demonstrated the dignity of Kim Il Sung ‘s Korea to the world by building the WPK as the invincible guiding force.
The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who is ex-Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal said in his speech that the 70 odd-year-long history of the WPK is the proud one in which it has preserved its idea and ideal in the fierce confrontation with imperialism and vigorously advanced the revolution and construction by dint of the unity of the people.
Pakistani figures including the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, the Chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the Chairman of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies, the Chief of the Organization of Woman for the Study of Juche Idea and the Chief of the Organization of Youth & Students for the Study of Juche Idea said that the WPK, which developed the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea into a prosperous socialist state by leading its people, is the most dignified Party in the world and it is the beacon of hope for the progressive humankind as it works fresh miracles in socialist construction while resolutely smashing the vicious moves of the imperialists.
A congratulatory message to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in Nepal.
