The central youth artistic motivational team gave a performance “Let Us Hold Aloft the Flag of the DIU” at the Central Youth Hall on October 15 in commemoration of the 95th founding anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union formed by President Kim Il Sung .
Among the audience were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, youth league officials and youth and students in the capital city of Pyongyang.
Put on the stage were various numbers, including a poem recital and male solo, harmonica quartet and song of an immortal classic work Nostalgia , and song and dance and national musical instrumental ensemble Korean Style Is the Best in the World .
Performers sang high praises of the undying exploits Kim Il Sung performed in laying the historic root of the WPK by forming the DIU, a new-type vanguard organization, at the dawn of the Korean revolution and in setting a historic example for building a revolutionary party in the world by dint of his unique idea and leadership.
They gave an impressive depiction of the history of Chairman Kim Jong Il ’s leadership over party building who strengthened and developed the WPK into an invincible, steel-strong and motherly Party by splendidly applying Kim Il Sung ’s idea on party building.
The performance showed the ennobling virtue of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as a heaven-sent great man who is on an endless journey of devotion for the people, true to the noble intention of the peerlessly great men Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il .
It represented the unshakable faith and will of hot-blooded young Koreans who are determined to make a breakthrough in the struggle for carrying out the decisions of the 8th Party Congress and the administrative policy of the DPRK government.
