The Thaejam Stockbreeding Cooperative Farm in Kangdong County, Pyongyang Municipality, is increasing the output of dairy products.
Kim Yong Chol, chairman of the management board of the farm, said: Our farm has produced large amounts of delicious and nutritious dairy products by reenergizing stockbreeding in keeping with its favourable geographical features. This year alone, we produced hundreds of tons of yogurt to supply them to the nurseries and kindergartens in the county.
The farm operates milk processing facilities on a normal track while breeding goats of superior strains in a scientific way so as to boost production.
It scrupulously organizes the work of increasing the weight and breeding coefficient of goats and their number. It also makes efforts to industrialize feed production in order to turn out dairy products all the year round.
It concentrates efforts on producing quality dairy products by renovating sterilization, vaccination and refining processes and introducing highly active lactic bacterium.
