The Defence Development Exhibition Self-Defence 2021 drew to a close after running for ten days. It opened on October 11 to mark the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Its closing ceremony took place on October 22.
It was attended by Pak Jong Chon, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee.
Also present there were Yu Jin, department director of the WPK Central Committee, leading officials, scientists and technicians in the sectors of defence science research and the munitions industry.
Pak Jong Chon delivered a closing address.
When the exhibition was declared closed, the song The Glorious Motherland was solemnly played.
The exhibition, which fully demonstrated the validity and shining vitality of the revolutionary national defence policy of the WPK, will serve as a meaningful festival which further promoted the buildup of the defence capabilities of the country and a significant occasion that propelled more dynamically the overall development of Korean-style socialist construction.
