The Kusong Chicken Farm in North Phyongan Province has undergone renovation.
The modernization of the farm has provided the material and technical foundations for producing a large quantity of meat and eggs and thereby contributing to improving the diet of the provincial population and boosting agricultural production.
The builders renovated dozens of production blocks and put them on an automated and industrial basis and newly built a ground for producing additives and fermentation feed, a methane gas power station, a production base for organic compound fertilizer and other structures.
They also introduced a food production cycle, set up an automatic control system of temperature, humidity and feed supply in chicken houses, established an industrial production process of feed addictive and fermentation feed relying on domestic raw materials and built a feeding ground for Hermetia illucens to supply protein feed.
An inaugural ceremony was held on November 24.
