The colliers in the field of coal industry are striving for increased production with the year-end at hand.
Here is Sim Kwang Sop, Department Director of the Ministry of Coal Industry.
"The coal mines across the country under the Ministry of Coal Industry are now putting spurs to the work for successfully carrying out their production plans for this year. We organize and command the production properly according to their high enthusiasm. At present, the coal mines are securing more reserve coal fields through powerful high-speed tunneling, thus making preparations for next year's production."
The Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex has methodologically organized the competition between the coal mines while concentrating efforts on prospecting and tunneling, enabling all the units to register high production results. It has mapped out a detailed program for thousands of-metre-long heading excavation and hundreds of-metre-long tunnel concretizing and is taking rational measures, understanding the knotty problems at the production sites one by one. In the faces of all the coal mines, the movements for outpacing and learning after others and swapping the experiences with each other are actively conducted and the spirit is fully displayed with which the former shift helps the latter one, and vice versa. In the atmosphere more and more units have carried out their yearly assignments.
The Pukchang Area Youth Coal-Mining Complex and the Kaechon Area Coal-Mining Complex have positively invented and introduced the rational working methods suited to the coal bed and face conditions to boost the coal production, while ensuring the full operation of the equipment by actively providing the equipment accessories and materials in short supply at the coal mines.
Mounting all the more is the high enthusiasm of the coal producers to finish with credit the first-year goal of the five-year plan including the construction of a coal depot with large capacity and the project for making all tunnels permanent while carrying out the present production assignments.
