Main Culprit that Causes Tension and Interferes in the Internal Affairs of Others

Tension is building up recently between China and the U.S. as the U.S. gets ever more undisguised in its attempt to interfere in the issue of Taiwan.
Not long ago, the U.S. President said that he would maintain the principle of “One China” and that he would not support “independence of Taiwan” at the video conference held between the Heads of State of China and the U.S. However, barely ten days have passed since then, before the U.S. warship sailed into the Taiwan Straits again and the U.S. Congressmen openly visited Taiwan aboard a military airplane.
This is an expression of its sinister intention of confrontation smiling in front but sharpening the sword behind. It is also a serious breach of trust reneging on even its promises without any regrets, not to mention the elementary norms of international relations for the sake of its political interests.
Spokespersons for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Eastern Battle Zone of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army denounced such acts of the U.S. as a great threat to peace and stability of the region, and reiterated the position of China that it will staunchly defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state by taking all the necessary steps.
They also stressed that Taiwan, the inseparable part of sacred territory of China can, under no circumstances, be served as a playing card in the international relations and that unification of China is the inevitable course of history. Any act against it, they said, would be doomed to failure.
Respect of sovereignty, equality and non-interference in the internal affairs constitute the main code of conduct in the international relations.
Non-compliance with this code of conduct would only aggravate the contradiction between the countries, plunging the world into the vortex of conflict and war.
Now the U.S. continues to interfere in the issue of Taiwan, aggravating tension on purpose. Its real intention is to check the development and unification of China by rigging “One China, One Taiwan” at any cost.
The above facts show that the U.S. is the main culprit which fuels up tension while making it its business to interfere into the internal affairs of others and causes a serious threat to global peace and stability.
