Ten years have elapsed since a military parade in April, Juche 101 (2012), the first year of the new century of the Juche era.
During this time, several military parades were held, each representing a historic stage at which the might of the country was growing to maturity, and a landmark showing the intensity, scope and depth of its fast-increasing military supremacy and national strength.
The military parade in celebration of the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army held at Kim Il Sung Square on the night of April 25 was an unprecedented one different from the previous ones.
Several days have passed, but the excitement and joy over the parade of the day have not subsided. Instead, they have multiplied, inspiring the people across the country with pride and self-confidence.
The military parade was held in original and fascinating way; every aspect was really surprising and wonderful–the stunning skills of the paratroopers landing from an altitude of thousands of metres, ceremony of the grand combined military band, vigorous and majestic units entrance to the square, the dazzling illuminations, thunderous cheers of the troops and the unique grand parade orchestral music resounding in the square.
Particularly spectacular were a plane squadron which nose-dived and zoomed while letting off fireworks and the skills of another squadron passing over the square in the formation depicting a five-pointed star.
The parade fully demonstrated the past and present of Juche Korea reflected in its absolute power and great potential, and its bright future in which it will grow stronger.
Elite units representing its armed forces which have adorned its history with proud victories by carrying forward the traditions of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, marched across the square in fine array, demonstrating their appearance as an army strong in politico-ideological and technical aspects.
Also wonderful were the columns of the absolute weapon systems that epitomized the advanced, modern, heroic and brave character of the country and guaranteed its prosperous future.
Kim Jong Un , supreme commander of the armed forces of the Republic, in the marshal’s uniform, warmly waved back to the enthusiastically cheering paraders and spectators.
Seeing his beaming image, all the Korean people and the whole world visualized the future of the country which would become ever brighter as it is led by him.
