On the early morning of September 15, Juche 110(2021), a senior official of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea received a phone call from the respected Kim Jong Un.
Kim Jong Un said he had just tasted the diluted dry milk produced in Pyongyang City for trial and pointed out the shortcomings one by one.
It was after the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in mid-June that the equipment for the production of dry milk began to be manufactured in real earnest in Pyongyang City.
At the plenary meeting, Kim Jong Un touched on establishing it as a policy of the Party to provide the children across the country with nourishing foods including dairy products and presented specific tasks and ways for its implementation.
So, the city had manufactured a new equipment for producing dry milk in a month after repeated failures and produced the first trial product before making a report of it.
Kim Jong Un tasted the trial dry milk and made a phone call early in the morning.
He told the senior official that it is necessary for the officials of the relevant sector to study such shortcomings with the produced dry milk.
He looked like a mother who tastes a food for her child first to see if it is too hot and if it is too salty.
The senior official was thinking of his noble love for the rising generations, when there was another phone call from Kim Jong Un.
Kim Jong Un said again how the dry milk had been dissolved and told him to reexamine its taste, colour and solubility before checking the cause.
And he earnestly said the dry milk should be made well without any defects as it is for the children and it is important to find out the cause and complete the equipment before getting to production.
It was 4:20 a.m. that he put down the receiver.
Amid his repeated concern, Pyongyang City eventually succeeded in producing the standardized dry milk for the children.
