The Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea held in December Juche 110 (2021) took a preferential measure to completely exempting cooperative farms from the arrears of the colossal sum of the state loans to let rural communities consolidate their economic foundations.
The measure, which was taken to provide rural communities with favourable financial and material conditions despite the state suffers huge losses, made agricultural workers across the country gripped by excitement. However, officials and workers of those cooperative farms which had already redeemed loans were regretful at the news.
One day in January, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received such fact from officials concerned.
Sitting together with them, Kim Jong Un said that the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK took a preferential measure to completely exempting cooperative farms from the arrears of the state loans, and that those refund paid before the measure should be returned. He continued to say that he was told that the Sinjang Cooperative Farm in Yonsa County, North Hamgyong Province, was so regretful as it had gathered all the fund it had and redeemed it on December 24 last year, and that the fund should be all returned to the farm.
Accordingly, the farm received its fund it had paid to the state and could provide necessary farming materials needed for this year’s farming sufficiently.
The surprising realty in which hundreds of farms across the country received the fund it had paid was unfolded.
