The Ryuwon Footwear Factory is making active use of solar energy in production and business activities.
It has installed a large number of solar panels on the rooftop of its building with the generating capacity of hundreds of kW.
It generates electricity for business activities and heating in its nursery and delivers some of it to the national electric power grids.
For that reason, its employees call the rooftop with solar panels as a “solar power station.”
In addition, the factory is providing its bathhouse, swimming pool and the nursery’s wading pool with hot water produced by solar water heaters fixed in such places as the rooftop of its production building.
An increasing number of units use renewable energies by learning from valuable experience of the factory, which gains profits and contributes to providing green environment by relying on solar energy.
