The state policies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are all for the people and the state activities are all directed to the work for them.

It is the intention of the respected Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, that we should give top priority to and absolutize the interests of the people and do what the people desire and can benefit from unconditionally.

Kim Jong Un is enforcing the people-first politics.

Making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is the starting point of his thinking and practice.

Urgent problems the people are most concerned about and desire are the most important state affairs to which he attaches the greatest importance and gives primary efforts.

The housing problem is considered to be the first of them.

It is the core of the construction policy of the Workers' Party of Korea to make ours the country which solved the housing problem before others.

According to the policy, it is planned to basically solve the housing problem across the country by building almost 70,000 flats including more than 16,000 flats under construction in Pyongyang City and 25,000 dwellings in the Komdok area and extensively pushing ahead with the housing construction on an annual basis in the provinces, cities and counties from 2021 to 2025.

The Songhwa Street was built in the Songsin and Songhwa area of the capital, along with the Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District, last year and people moved into new houses in April this year.

And in February last, ground was broken for the construction of 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area, the second project for attaining the long-term goal of housing construction in Pyongyang City.

All things desired by the people have become the state policies and the state works for it.

For stabilizing the living of the residents in the areas affected by natural disasters reserve foodgrains of the President of the State Affairs were released and supplied and a lot of essential goods such as bedclothes, daily necessaries and medicines were provided according to the state measures. People across the country turned out to finish the housing construction in a short span of time and the flood sufferers were provided with new houses.

Kim Jong Un is devoting himself for the people, saying he should solve what they desire and wish.

All desires and wishes of the people across the country were adopted as state policies and they were put into practice. In the course, the Korean people came to lead a happy life and solid foundations for the lasting prosperity were laid.

Kim Jong Un unconditionally realizes anything desired and awaited by the people, no matter how difficult it may be. Herein lies the true meaning of his selfless and devoted service for the people's well-being.
