Unconcealed Wild Ambition for Reinvasion

Date: 02/09/2022 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

Japan has recently built a new-type warship equipped with Aegis system and deployed it in the forward area of the East Sea of Korea in an attempt to keep a close watch and surveillance on our country.

It is said that the newly-built warships would be equipped with Aegis system, “SPY-7” radar, “SM-6” interception missiles and cruise missiles.

What is dangerous is that those warships which are supposed to keep a close watch and surveillance on the signs of missile launch by our country, would be equipped not only with interception missiles but also offensive cruise missiles.

Besides purchasing offensive missiles from the United States and other countries, Japan has also sought to develop the locally manufactured long-range cruise missiles with the range of more than 1,000 km so as to put spurs to the possession of attack capabilities.

Everybody and every country know well how far the long-range cruise missiles with the range of more than 1,000 km would reach when they are mounted on aircrafts or warships.

Needless to say, it is an act of undermining peace and security of the region and the world and a blatant manifestation of its wild ambition for reinvasion.

The world clearly remembers that the aggressive war by the Japanese imperialism had been extended to a number of Asian countries including Korea, inflicting immeasurable misery and pains upon numerous people.

Japan is now making desperate efforts to possess the “capability to attack enemy base”. And its purpose is to realize its unrealized wild ambition for “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” by continuously expanding its attack and reinvasion capabilities.

Japan, however, should look back on the miserable aftermath of its aggressive war and should also know well about the dire consequences to be incurred by its moves to become a military power.
