Personages from governments, political Parties and organizations of various countries paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on the occasion of the 74 th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
They laid floral baskets and bouquets at the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art pieces depicting them standing together before bowing to them.
Among them were a member of the Central Leadership of Syria’s Baath Arab Socialist Party, the special policy adviser to the Senegalese president and personages from the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the newspaper Nhan Dan, the National Song and Dance Theatre of Vietnam, the Pakistan People’s Party, the Serbia-Korea Friendship Association, the Political Bureau of the Workers’ Party for the Independence of Senegal and a regional group for the study of the Juche idea in Senegal.
Figures from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria and the Group for Self-Reliance Studies of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Premier and concurrently Foreign Minister of Laos, the leader of a Thai policy Party, a senator of Pakistan, the Secretary General of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies, the national leader of the Workers’ Party of Mexico, the Committee for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the Commission for External Affairs of the C.C., the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam, the Communist Party of India, the All-India Forward Bloc, the Swedish Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Institute of the Juche Idea in Mexico, the Mexican Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies of Mexico and others sent floral baskets and bouquets to the DPRK missions.
The Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, the speaker of the Thai National Assembly and a member of the executive committee of the Thai Democratic Party sent congratulatory letters to the DPRK missions.
