Hundreds of new houses have been built at the villages of the grain-production workteam Nos. 1 and 2 of Ryongwon Farm in Kumya County, South Hamgyong Province, and the grain-production workteam No. 3 of Mundong Fruit Farm in Pukchong County, South Hamgyong Province, and the village of Togam Farm in Kaesong.
Meetings for moving into new houses were held on the spot respectively.
The meetings were attended by Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Yong Sik, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, Pak Tong Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee, Choe Kyong Nam, chairman of the Kaesong City People’s Committee, Ri Sung Jin, chairman of the Kaesong City Rural Economy Committee, Jang Myong Gi, secretary of the Kaesong City Committee of the WPK, other officials concerned, builders, officials and employees of relevant units who contributed to the construction, and agricultural workers of Ryongwon Farm, Mundong Fruit Farm and Togam Farm.
Congratulatory speeches were made at the meetings.
Certificates for using the houses were conveyed to the residents amid the enthusiastic applause of participants, and it was followed by speeches.
The residents moved into new houses amid the peasant music and dance.
Officials congratulated the owners of new houses, sharing joy with them.
