Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a reply message from Bashar Al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, on November 22.
In the message, the Syrian President expressed his gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending congratulations on the occasion of the 52 nd anniversary of the corrective movement in Syria.
The message continued:
I am grateful for your support and solidarity to the Syrian people in the struggle to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity from all acts of terrorism.
Syria and the DPRK would continue to work together for further developing the bilateral friendly relations and the mutual cooperation in various fields in the common interests of the two peoples in the future, too.
