The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea provides all people with relevant conditions for their studying regardless of age, occupation, time and place.
The online education system provides working people with the opportunity to receive lectures from excellent universities and teachers according to their requirements, and sci-tech dissemination bases enable them to acquire advance science and technology at any time.
The Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory drew up a plan of finding out reserves among its employees and training them into talented persons by relying on the above-said systems.
The factory has worked out a detailed plan for the operation of its sci-tech learning space and gave studying assignments to its employees as suited to their occupations and technical skills, reviewing and evaluating the results. In the course of this, many technological innovations and conceptions have been presented, including peanut sorter, maize germ separator and carbon dioxide trap, conducive to putting production on a normal footing. This year alone, the factory has developed a dozen products so far.
For its employees, the factory arranges exchanges and transfer of technical achievements and collective discussion on technical matters arising in production.
The production line of isomerase, which is of great significance in the production of sugar, has been established in the course of such a collective discussion.
More than 200 workers of the factory, a thrice holder of model technical innovation unit, are enrolled at the online education system.
