North Hamgyong Province is actively promoting the technical upgrading of local industry factories.
The Provincial People's Committee reviews the implementation of the goals for technical upgrading set by the factories this year and takes relevant measures.
It calls for swapping and sharing the experiences and technical innovation achievements of the Susongchon General Foodstuff Factory which is setting an example in establishing the Computer Integrated Manufacture System and putting the production and business activities on a scientific and IT footing.
It also reinforces the scientific and technological forces with technicians and skilled workers and provides sci-tech data in order to finish the establishment of the oil refining and water disinfection processes at the foodstuff factories in the province, encouraging the producers.
The province accelerates the production of equipment in keeping with the fact that the construction of Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories planned this year has entered the final stage.
