From the outset of the new year 2023 the Chollima Steel Complex is seething with surging enthusiasm for increased production to make an active contribution to the economic development of the country.
Smelters at the steel workshop are displaying high spirits of collective innovation.
Those of the UHP electric arc furnaces are intensifying collaboration between shifts under the slogan “One for all, all for one!” and shortening the melting and raw-materials charging time. At the same time, they are pushing ahead with the work to develop rational working methods and introduce them, which greatly pays off in production.
Great efforts are being directed to the management of equipment and technology at the rolling workshop so as to ensure the operation of rolling mills and heating furnaces at full capacity. Its workers and technicians are strictly observing the technical regulations and standard manuals for operation, while waging a brisk mass-drive for technical innovation to raise the efficiency of the machines.
The gas generating workshop is normalizing production by pushing ahead with the technical reconstruction of machines to meet the increased coal transport capacity.
The complex is making steady efforts to increase the current production, expand the production capacities and improve technical levels.
Its technicians are intensifying researches of great importance in improving the quality of the steel and putting the metallurgic industry on a Juche basis.
