A meeting of officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan was held at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on the 20th to carry through the important tasks outlined in the message of greetings sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the New Year Juche 112(2023).
Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Department for Organizational Affairs Pak Ku Ho and Vice-Chairpersons of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association, officials of its central and affiliated organizations and business firms, the Director of the History Institute of Koreans in Japan, chairpersons of the headquarters of the General Association in the Kanto Region and principals of Korean schools at all levels.
The national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was played.
Read out at the meeting was the message of greetings sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un to the Chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan on the occasion of the New Year.
Pak Ku Ho made a report.
He said Marshal Kim Jong Un sent the message of greetings in the first morning of this year to wish the General Association and Koreans in Japan a happy future representing the minds of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and powerfully encourage them to develop the movement of Koreans in Japan comprehensively along with the homeland.
He ardently called on the entire officials of the General Association to make an all-out dash for writing a glorious page in the history of the Juche-oriented movement of Koreans in Japan by definitely putting the overall patriotic work on the rising track, more clearly demonstrating the nature of the General Association this auspicious year with their absolute loyalty to Marshal Kim Jong Un.
