Universities and colleges at all levels in the country made achievements in the work to compile and publish new textbooks.
According to information available, last year many central and local universities and colleges produced over 600 kinds of textbooks and reference books conducive to improving the academic performance of students and the quality of education.
Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology, based on the study of global tendency of developing education, compiled textbooks such as Molecular Structure and Function of Cells , Modern Physics , Intelligent Information Processing and Its Application and Digital City .
University of Sciences completed a lot of textbooks such as Nano-biomaterial Technology and Plastic Mechanics which correctly reflect the latest sci-tech contents of relevant subjects.
Meanwhile, Chongjin University of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, Wonsan University of Agriculture and other colleges in provinces compiled hundreds of textbooks and reference books helpful in enhancing the quality of education and improving the practical abilities and skills of students and building up their creative application abilities.
