The eighth enlarged plenary meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League was held on February 2 through the video conference system.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the SPYL Central Committee.
Present there as observers were officials of the SPYL Central Committee and those of ministries, national agencies, provincial, city and county youth leagues of the SPYL.
The meeting discussed the issues of thoroughly implementing the decision of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the tasks the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un advanced in the important letter, Let Us March Towards the Future as a Powerful Country Under the Unfurled Flag of the Korean Children’s Union , which was sent to the participants in the Ninth Congress of the Korean Children’s Union.
Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made a report of the agenda item on thoroughly implementing the decision of the plenary meeting of the WPK Central Committee.
The reporter stressed the need for all officials and members of the youth league to give full play to the might of the point-men in the general onward march and the patriotic youth in the struggle to glorify this significant year by turning out in the implementation of the grand fighting strategy set forth at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee.
Speeches were made.
The meeting also discussed the tasks for youth league organizations to thoroughly implement the tasks in Kim Jong Un ’s letter to the participants in the Ninth Congress of the KCU.
Relevant resolutions on the agenda items were adopted.
