DPRK Premier inspects different units in South Hamgyong Province and Nampho City

Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different units in South Hamgyong Province and Nampho City.
Looking round the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm, a large-scale vegetable producer, he said the officials and employees of the farm should effect innovations in the production true to the lofty intention of the Party to provide the people of Hamhung City and South Hamgyong Province with fresh vegetables all the year round.
At the Ryongsong Machine Complex, he encouraged the officials, scientists, technicians and workers in their efforts to implement the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee and stressed the need to further glorify the tradition of the complex which has fully displayed the might of self-reliance.
He inspected different farms, farm machine stations and organic compound fertilizer factories in Hamhung City and Hamju County of South Hamgyong Province and Kangso District and Onchon and Ryonggang Counties of Nampho City. During his inspection, he called for directing efforts to increasing the fertility of soil and securing water resources in the preceding wheat and barley farming, accelerating the repair and maintenance of farm machines and strictly observing the scientific and technical requirements in the organic compound fertilizer production.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues including the one for the officials to plan and push ahead with all work in a responsible way, regarding science and technology as the lifeline, and the one on enhancing the role of the State Commission of Science and Technology and the Commission of Quality Management in improving the quality of products.
Meanwhile, Premier Kim learned about the supply of foodgrains at the grain stores in Nampho City and took necessary measures.
