On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the heroic Korean People’s Army, generals of the KPA who are the backbones of the armed forces of the DPRK visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong in Pyongyang to pay tribute to the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs.
Kang Sun Nam, Pak Su Il, Jong Kyong Thaek and other commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and military and political commanding officers of the KPA large combined units and combined units climbed up Jujak Peak bearing in mind the great honour and pride of having demonstrated once again to the whole world the unrivaled spirit of the KPA and the mightiness and invincibility of the state at the grand military parade marking the significant Army Day in the presence of the peerlessly brilliant commander.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.
A wreath was laid amid the playing of the wreath-laying music.
Written on the ribbon of the wreath were letters reading, “The revolutionary martyrs will be immortal.”
The commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and military and political commanding officers of the KPA large combined units and combined units paid a silent tribute to the memory of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who readily dedicated their youth and lives to accomplishing the sacred cause of national independence and the people’s happiness.
There was a march-past of the KPA honour guard.
