Amid the tense atmosphere when passionate young people across the country volunteer to join and rejoin the Korean People’s Army and the people turn out in the all-out resistance, youth and students held a rally at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on March 22 and made a resolve to mete out a resolute punishment to the US imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors hell-bent on the reckless moves to stifle the DPRK.
The rally was attended by Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, youth league officials and youth and students in the capital city of Pyongyang.
Speeches were made there.
The speakers said that millions of young people are boiling their blood at the news that the prevailing situation of the country is on the brink of an outbreak of war, and that the roars of their anger to mercilessly smash the US imperialists and their puppet traitors are resounding through the whole country.
That day, youth and students marched in a fine array through the streets in the capital city of Pyongyang, singing wartime songs in chorus and fluttering the sacred flag of the Republic, the flag the KPA fighters flied high on the heights of victory during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
