A new history of rural housing construction has opened in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Modern rural houses are being built in all parts of the country including Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province, which is called the village just under the sky.
Samjiyon City is a model of the mountainous cultured towns and a standard of rural development.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Samjiyon City far from Pyongyang several times to turn it into an ideal mountainous town intensively showing the modern civilization.
He gave precious instructions on its construction while giving field guidance to different fields of the city in late November Juche 102(2013).
Whenever calling at the city, afterwards, he guided it to be built as a model and example of towns in the local construction by completing all its construction objects on the highest level.
It was his intention to hasten the development of local construction by actively encouraging and expanding the excellent experiences accumulated through the construction of Samjiyon City.
At the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK in December Juche 110(2021), Kim Jong Un said it is the Party's policy ofrural construction to turn all the rural villages across the country intorich and cultured socialist utopia at the level similar to those inSamjiyon City in the near future.
True to his intention, rural houses have been built in real earnest since last year.
Kim Jong Un guided more than 2,000 designs concerning the rural housing construction and took all measures for ensuring the construction forces, equipment and materials.
One-story, low-story and terraced houses have been built in a peculiar way according to the regional characteristics, face-lifting the countryside.
All the rural villages will be built into an ideal communist countryside good to work and live in before long.
