In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea there are many patriotic workers who devote all their efforts and passion to the prosperity of the country.
The married couples--Ri Jin Hyok and Han Ok Gyong and Jang Thae Jin and Kim Su Rim--are leading a worthwhile life at the Aeguk Knitwear Factory, thinking first of the state affairs before the the family affairs.
Though they haven't worked long at the factory, they have introduced tens of technical innovation proposals into production processes, making a contribution to overfulfilling their assignments under the national economic plan every year. That's why they are loved and respected as conjugal innovators.
Workteam Head O Sun Nam at the Rangnang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory, well-known as a master of machines and worker-inventor, is Merited Mechanic who has not only set an example in the management of the equipment but also made a contribution to improving the technical knowledge and skills of all his workteam members.
In Wonsan City Highway Facilities Management Station there are hundreds of women employees who have been taking care of roads in the city for more than 10 or 15 years with attachment to their jobs.
Official Kim Song Gwang says:
"It's not so easy to take care of roads almost every day. The roads in the city get cleaner thanks to their devoted efforts for the country, I think."
Workteam Head Jo Myong Nam at the Pyongyang Textile Machine Factory is working hard with pure conscience.
He says:
"I am an ordinary worker. Whenever people call me deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly respectfully, I think it is possible only in our grateful socialist system.
At the same time I make a resolve to do more things for the socialist motherland."
Such ordinary workers, who devote all their efforts thinking first of the state affairs before their family affairs, are opening up a new era of national prosperity and development.
