The International Children's Day, also known as June 1, is an international holiday of the children which was instituted to oppose imperialism, defend peace and promote the lives, rights, happiness and health of the children.
In November 1949, the Women's International Democratic Federation instituted June 1 as the International Children's Day at its Second Council Meeting to ensure the rights of the children in the whole world and oppose homicide of the imperialist warmongers.
How to bring up the children well is a very important issue concerning the future destiny of the country and nation.
So some international measures are taken to improve education and health of the children and undertakings done to completely abolish the child labour and protect the children from all sorts of crimes.
In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea all the children are regarded as kings of the country and they are enjoying a happy life and realizing their dreams to the full under the meticulous care of the state.
The parentless children are brought up at the state expense at the baby homes, orphanages and schools and the universal 12-year compulsory education is enforced in the DPRK.
There are the wonderful schoolchildren's palaces and Children's Union camps for the extracurricular activities of the children.
The Korean children, the future of the country, are leading a happy life in the socialist system where they are regarded as the treasure of the country that cannot be bartered for any colossal sum of money. They are the happiest in the world.
