Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- True to the resolutions of the 7th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the workers of the chemical industrial sector of the DPRK carried out the fertilizer production plan for May through the campaign for increased production.
Officials of the Ministry of Chemical Industry grasped the actual conditions of the relevant units and took the necessary technical measures. And they also took the steps to supply raw and other materials.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex focused its efforts on the current production while simultaneously pushing forward with several projects for expanding the production capacity.
It also increased the production by securing accessories and providing spare machines.
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex increased the number of the technicians and skilled workers and ensured that the standard procedures were observed at all the lines. As a result, great achievements were made in the fertilizer production.
Officials and workers of the chemical industrial sector are making an all-out effort to fulfill the fertilizer production plan for the manuring year. -0-
