An art performance “Our Benevolent Sun” was given by schoolchildren in celebration of the 77th founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace on June 6.
It was seen by Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, youth league officials, students of Mangyongdae and Kang Pan Sok revolutionary schools, the participants in the letter relay of loyalty by KCU members across the country and other schoolchildren.
The performance started with a prelude “The Embrace of the Sun,” to be followed by colourful numbers including oungum solo and ensemble, male solo and chorus, female chorus, a medley of song and dance and gymnastic dance.
Performers gave an impressive depiction of their deep reverence for Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who founded the Juche-oriented revolutionary organization of children and devoted themselves to bringing up KCU members to be true sons and daughters of the country.
Reflected in every number of the performance was their boundless reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who gives top priority to work for the rising generations over all other affairs of the Party and the state and bestows his affection and benevolence on them.
The performers represented in each number the delight of schoolchildren bringing their beautiful dreams and hope into full bloom.
