The preparations for the election of deputies to the provincial (municipality), city (district) and county people’s assemblies have mainly been finished across the country.
According to the law of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the elections of deputies to people’s assemblies at all levels, election committees were organized in provinces (municipality), cities (district) and counties to start their work and constituency and sub-constituency election committees made public electoral rolls simultaneously on November 12.
Election slogans and posters and other visual aids related to the elections were posted in a concentrated way in major places of Pyongyang, capitals of provinces and cities and county towns and in relevant constituencies and election campaign was conducted vigorously.
Voters’ meetings were held in constituencies across the country for the deliberation of qualifications of candidates for deputies, the registration of candidates for deputies was finished and the meetings of voters and deputy candidates were held significantly.
Polling stations were built well at constituencies across the country.
