A magnificent ideal street for the people has been built in the northern gateway to the capital city of Pyongyang thanks to the ardent patriotism and loyalty of millions of young vanguard determined to give the fullest play to the might of a youth power without parallel in the world by creating a new legendary tale of heroic youth to glorify the great Kim Jong Un ’s era.
The Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea decided as follows as regards the formation of a grand architectural group in the Sopho area, symbolic of resourcefulness and bravery of young people:
1. Jonwi-dong Nos. 1 and 2 shall be established newly in the Sopho area of Pyongyang and be affiliated to Hyongjesan District of Pyongyang.
2. The area from Sosan crossroads in front of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House to Sambong Bridge shall be named Jonwi Street.
3. The DPRK Cabinet and other relevant organs shall take a practical measure to implement the decree.
The SPA Standing Committee issued a relevant decree on December 5.
