The leather shoe manufacturer of the Mangyongdae Leather Shoes Company on Kwangbok Street in the capital city of Pyongyang produces various kinds of goods suited to the taste and aesthetic sense of the people.
It started production in October Juche 88 (1999) and turns out tens of thousands of pairs of leather shoes in dozens of kinds every year according to age, sex and season. Its main raw material is real leather.
According to an official of the manufacturer, it manages business by focusing on the buildup of its technical forces, the digitization and informatization of business activities, the guaranteeing of the quality of machine parts, the making of uppers production artistic and the processing of various types of soles.
The manufacturer regards it as the primary requirement of production to diversify the products in terms of colour and shape and make them light and durable.
Customers unanimously say that its real leather shoes with various types of soles, including the refined and smart seasonal shoes for men and elegant and fashionable seasonal shoes for women, have good air permeability and are comfortable, light and durable.
Its products were highly appreciated at the several exhibitions held this year, including the light industrial goods exhibition “Development of Light Industry-2023”.
