The Democratic People's Republic of Korea selects 10 best enterprises from those units good in the implementation of the national economic plan and business management.

The Samhung Economic Information Technology Company developed many IT products favoured and welcomed by the people and carried out the state payment plan at 122 percent in 2022. As a result, it was chosen as one of the 10 best enterprises in 2023.

The company was established in 2012.

At that time, mobile phones were widely used among the Korean people and the field and scope of their use were gradually expanding. In keeping with it, the demand for economic information badly needed for the work and life was rapidly increasing.

So the company did not steep itself in expanding the business, but developed first what is actually needed for the people's life one by one and gave priority to ensuring their convenience.

In those days, it developed best IT products including the integrated information service system "My Companion" and the electronic payment system "Samhung Electronic Purse" and steadily upgraded them, making a contribution to the economic development of the country while promoting the convenience of the people.

The demand for the integrated information service system and the electronic payment system it developed is increasing day by day. But their development, management and upgrade require a lot of efforts such as building of a huge database and continuous development of advanced technology for network management.

The company did not pursue its immediate interests alone, but attached importance to training talents and developing their creativity before anything else.

Now it has no problem in developing and introducing new technology and products thanks to its strong technical forces. But its material and technical foundations were very poor a few years ago.
