The embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Moscow gave a reception on February 15 on the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il .
Present there on invitation were Alexandr Kozlov, minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, Alexandr Fomin, vice-minister of Defence, and personages of government, political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia, including the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Foreign Ministry, the Defence Ministry, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Party for Peace and Unity, and the Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.
The DPRK ambassador to Russia and staff members of his embassy were on hand.
The participants laid flower baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together, and paid tribute to them.
Then they looked round photos documenting the noble revolutionary careers of the peerlessly great men and the undying exploits they performed for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations, and their immortal works and photos showing the invincible might and development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
