Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Condemns Indiscriminate Network Attacks by U.S.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated as follows in regard to the recent launch of two reports by a Chinese company that revealed in details the situation in which the U.S. government is proceeding with its network intimidation strategy on a global scale and mounting reckless attacks on networks of other countries including its allies.
The abovementioned reports made a full disclosure on how the U.S. government was abusing its hegemonic and monopolistic position to act at its discretion in the Network domain, violate the related international regulations and order, undermine the peace and security of network domain and harm the security and development interests of other countries including China.
The U.S. government is monitoring and controlling the world’s fundamental resources of internet and disturbing the social stability and economic security by abusing its monopolistic position in internet service. That`s not all. It is stealing indiscriminately massive data and infringing upon people’s right to privacy of other countries.
The U.S. has long persisted in its attacks on government institutions, major organizations and core infrastructures of the countries around the world including those of its allies. We can say that it is the “root of all evils” caused by the insecurity and challenges to the network domain.
Network should not be a war theatre and network domain should not be a grey zone and anarchy where the U.S. reigns supreme. Moreover, it should not be a tool to curb the development of other countries and undermine the international peace.
In conclusion, the spokesperson strongly demanded the U.S. to immediately rectify its irresponsible and dangerous acts and make joint efforts with the international community to create a peaceful, safe, open and cooperative network domain.
