A national art exhibition opened at the Korean Art Gallery in Pyongyang on April 9 to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Displayed at the exhibition venue are art pieces dealing with the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
The art pieces highly praise the exploits of the President who achieved the historic cause of national liberation through the bloody anti-Japanese war.
They vividly represent the fact that the loving care and trust of the illustrious commander, who braved the war flames to meet the fighting People’s Army soldiers, served as the source of invincible strength for the soldiers to display matchless bravery, self-sacrificing spirit and heroism on every battlefield during the Fatherland Liberation War.
They also reflect the personality of Kim Il Sung as a great man who made his sacred revolutionary journey together with the people.
They deal with the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by devoting his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people through his ceaseless high-intensity forced march.
They profoundly depict the devoted efforts for the people’s wellbeing, being made by Kim Jong Un who has put the dignity and might of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the highest level, translating the people’s dreams and ideals into brilliant reality.
On display are other art works vividly showing the proud appearance of the country and the ever-blooming happiness of the people.
Present at the opening ceremony were Ju Chang Il, department director of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned, officials and creators in the fine art sector and working people in Pyongyang.
Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.
