Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK Monday dedicate articles in praise of the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung to his birth anniversary.
Rodong Sinmun says in an editorial that independence is the revolutionary creed, mode and practice cherished and embodied by the President all his life.
The editorial notes that the President who set independence as the lifeline in the first period of his revolutionary struggle had solved all problems arising in the revolution and construction our own way in line with the demand of the Korean revolution, interests of the Korean people and the specific conditions of the country during the whole period of leading the revolution.
It goes on:
President Kim Il Sung performed immortal exploits by founding the immortal Juche idea and thus providing the basic guidelines for dynamically advancing the Korean revolution along the road of independence forever.
For the first time in history, the President clarified the principle of the revolution that the masses of the people are the masters of revolution and construction and they have the strength of propelling the revolution and construction, and founded the immortal Juche idea, the guiding idea in the era of independence.
He laid a strong foundation for firmly guaranteeing the accomplishment of the socialist cause of Juche.
Based on the rich experience gained in the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, he successfully accomplished the cause of building the party, state and army in a short period after liberation and steadily strengthened the Party, state and army.
He trained the Korean people to be a powerful driving force of state construction with the spirit of self-respect and extraordinary creativity.
He started the revolution by awakening and organizing the masses and advanced the difficult and complicated revolutionary struggle and construction of various stages along the road of victory, relying on the awakened and united masses.
Minju Joson says in an article that the President is the peerlessly great man and patriot who pioneered the road of building a socialist state centered on the masses of the people for the first time in history, regarding the ideology of believing in the people as in Heaven as his motto, and set a brilliant example. -0-
