Russian online newspaper “Inosmi” recently carried an article of Chinese media that criticized the double standards of the West under the title “West Adopting Double Standards towards Ukraine and Israel”.

The West supports Israel’s atrocity of massacring tens of thousands of peaceful residents as a right to “self-defence”. On the other side, however, it describes Russia’s special military operation to defend its compatriots in Donbas as “aggression”.
The West imposes sanctions not only on the economy but also on sports, disturbing Russian athletes’ participation in the international competitions. But it doggedly turns a blind eye to sanctions against Israel.
The West regards those who support it as heroes, and the rest as terrorists.
But the world is now observing the situations in Ukraine and the Middle East from different viewpoints.
The West’s double standards not only create division within the West but also bring about global changes. As a result, it will gradually debase the West in the international arena.
