The following happened when large greenhouse farms were being built in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
One October day in Juche 108 (2019), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm and a tree nursery under construction. Pointing to the greenhouse area on the observation platform, he said with satisfaction that the painstaking efforts which had been made from last year was finally to come to fruition.
He already inspected the Jungphyong area in July 2018 and designated the vast area of an airport as the site of the greenhouse farm. He visited it again next month to specify the tasks and ways for building the greenhouse farm on the highest level.
Going round the greenhouses, he said the construction of such a large-scale greenhouse farm would be the first of its kind in the country and that it was indeed a revolution in greenhouse farming.
Looking around officials, he stressed that the Korean revolutionaries should do any things for the good of people in a big way, to the admiration of the world.
Kim Jong Un attended the inauguration ceremony of the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm in October Juche 111 (2022) and cut a ribbon for its completion before looking round the farm.
He repeatedly praised that such an eye-opening scene of a large farm area is a miracle of all miracles which could be created only by the Korean People’s Army.
That day, he stressed the need for the farm to put its vegetable production and management on a higher scientific basis and compete with the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm in production so as to develop into a farm benefiting the locals of South Hamgyong Province.
