The finals of the Sports Contest of Workers in Major Industrial Sectors-2024 which started on April 21 took place with splendour at Kim Il Sung Stadium which is situated at the foot of picturesque Moran Hill in Pyongyang on May 1.
Working people with different residences, occupations and ages came to the stadium, irrespective of men and women, young and old, but their minds were filled with pride and dignity as the working people of the DPRK.
The DPRK values and loves the working people the most and puts them forward, believing in them as the eldest son of the country.
Under the care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards working people as his God and values their devotion, modern factories provided with all conditions including palatial workers’ hostels and halls of culture were built in all parts of the country.
Workers and farmers also study at universities according to their wishes and aptitudes.
Thanks to the love of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state shown for ordinary workers, all the working people enjoy creative and worthwhile working life while enjoying rights to work and good working conditions.
The revolutionary and patriotic zeal of Korean working people is being displayed further in the new era of overall development of socialism.
Workers of the Ryongsong Machine Complex created the Chollima spirit of the new era, the spirit of the new times, by successfully fulfilling the tasks assigned by the WPK, and coal miners in South Phyongan Province produced over 4 000 tons of more coal while carrying out their production plan ahead of schedule, thus kindling the flames of the socialist patriotic movement across the country.
