Sin Hong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Russian Federation, released the following press statement titled "Extreme unethical terrorism must be punished" on May 16:

Recently, the Ukrainian forces’ missile attack and shelling against Belgorod, the western border area of Russia, caused many civilian casualties much to the consternation of the international community.

According to media reports, the Ukrainian forces attacked residential buildings in Belgorod by using the tactical missile complex “Tochka-U” and multiple rocket launchers on May 12. It resulted in the collapse of a 10-storied apartment building, leaving 15 innocent inhabitants dead and 30-odd wounded.

This is not the first time for the neo-Nazis of Ukraine, faithful to the U.S. and the West, to launch such terrorist attacks against innocent inhabitants.

As everyone knows, after the outbreak of the Ukrainian crisis, the Zelenskiy puppet clique committed hundreds of unethical atrocities of killing innocent inhabitants by striking civilian targets in the territory of Russia, including Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk and the People’s Republic of Donetsk, with artillery pieces, drones and multiple rocket launchers offered by the U.S. and the West.

The Kiev authorities’ persistent acts of terrorism targeting innocent inhabitants and civilian infrastructures, being committed in dirty "revenge" for their repeated defeats in the military confrontation with Russia, are the manifestation of meanness common among the running dogs tamed by the U.S. and the West.

Can the Zelenskiy clique, a puppet of the U.S., turn the tide of war with the rotten stick- and tiger moth-like weapons given by the Western stakeholders?

If they continue such reckless and stupid acts, bereft of normal thinking and judging faculty, they must remember that they will only meet miserable self-destruction.

What should not be overlooked is the fact that the U.S. and the West, which have worked hard to demonize Russia with such labels as “massacre of civilians”, “forcible drafting of children” and “human rights abuses”, feign ignorance of the killings of peaceful citizens by the Ukrainian army.

This fully reveals the sinister intention of the U.S. and the West which have pushed the Zelenskiy authorities to confrontation and war with Russia, while openly conniving at and encouraging even their violent murder, in a bid to inflict strategic defeat upon Russia.

The U.S. and the West should be called the top-class sponsors of terrorism as they are adding fuel to the flames of war by encouraging the mad terrorists to attack the Russian territory with the weapons offered by them, not content with providing them with a large number of lethal weapons, far from calming down the madness of terrorists hell-bent on killing innocent civilians.

The Zelenskiy clique and its guardians should seriously ponder over what devastating consequences and global disaster would be entailed by the reckless acts of targeting the territory and inhabitants of Russia, a nuclear power, in the end.

The Zelenskiy clique is making desperate efforts to defeat Russia, a country of compatriots, with the backing of the U.S. and the West, but it is nothing but a "storm in a teacup." And nothing can ever stop the vigorous advance of the heroic Russian army and people armed with ardent spirit of national defence and patriotism.

The valiant Russian army and people all out in the sacred war of justice to defend the sovereign rights and security of the state will bravely overcome the difficulties and challenges and surely win victory in the special military operation to annihilate neo-Nazism.
