Amid the ever-changing appearance of the rural areas under the grandiose plan for the rural development in the new era, the dream of the people has been realized at the Rajinpho Farm in Yonan County, South Hwanghae Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Beautiful appearance of the new villages in the vast Yonbaek Plain is a fruition of the unshakable will and ardent love of the Workers’ Party of Korea which set it as an important policy task to turn all the rural villages across the country into cultural ideal villages in the near future.
Single- and low-storey and terraced houses for several hundred families are convenient for the living of agricultural workers. And newly planted peach, pear, thuja, bamboo willow and other trees add beauty to the villages.
A house-moving ceremony took place on the spot on May 15.
Present there were Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of Party and power organs and builders in Yonan County and agricultural workers to be provided with new houses.
A congratulatory speech was made by So Hak Song, vice-chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee. Then house licenses were given, to be followed by oath-taking speeches.
Moving into new houses began amid cheerful dancing.
Officials visited the new houses to congratulate their owners, sharing joy with them.
