Big efforts have been made to develop new products and improve their quality in different economic sectors.
In the first quarter of this year, more than 40 items of goods produced by 10-odd units were registered as February 2 Product, an honour dedicated to good national products, while over 150 production lines and products of dozens of units obtained quality certifications.
With a forward-looking goal for technical innovation, the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory have strengthened its technical forces and directed efforts to producing health foods conducive to improving the people’s standard of living, thus registering over 10 items of foodstuffs as February 2 Product.
The Ragwon Foodstuff Factory and the Taesongsan Ice Cream Factory have made greater efforts to improve the quality of products, renewing quality indices of foodstuffs.
The Jongsong General Pharmaceutical Factory, the Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Supplies Factory and other factories have won GMP certifications for their production lines of injections, capsules and dental care supplies.
The Unha Daesong Foodstuff Factory, the Kyonghung Unhasu Foodstuff Factory and others have ensured that the scientific and technological requirements are strictly observed to meet the quality indices of products, with several production lines certified for the food safety management system.
