Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex sent a lot of steel plates and pig iron needed for the production of building materials to the housing construction sites while ensuring normal operation of the equipment.
The Chollima Steel Complex supplies round steel, wire net and rolled steel on a preferential basis.
The February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and other units also send materials needed for construction.
Different units under the Pyongyang Construction Commission supply building materials including Hume concrete pipes, electrical polyvinyl chloride tubes and scagliola.
The Taedonggang Battery Factory, the Munphyong Smeltery and the Tanchon Smeltery supply different kinds of materials for housing construction in a responsible manner.
The forestry sector, too, sends timber for construction by revitalizing the production.
